Ooty botanical garden: The botanical garden is divided into 6 parts- 1) Lower Garden, 2) New Garden, 3) Italian Garden, 4) Conservatory Fountain Terrace and 6) Nurseries. The place has an interesting history. Italian prisoners of war were moved to Ooty Military base and worked on creating this garden. They were given the freedom to design it as per their will and that gave birth to the most beautiful part of the Botanical Garden - the Bandstand or the Italian Garden. The garden has an array of Italian style pools and flower arrangements. T
