Today board flight to Mauritius and on arrival at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, proceed to the resort located right on the white sand beach along the calm cool waters of the Indian Ocean. A speed boat will take us through the blue lagoon to the some of world's most famous beach in Ile Aux Cerfs. Enjoy snorkelling in the islands largest lagoon and admire the breath-taking underwater marine life and swim amongst superb corals and brightly colored tropical fish. Prove age is no bar in adventure - go for water skiing, banana boat and parasailing. After a whole day adventure, we shall return to the hotel in the evening. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner at the hotel and relax for the day.
Enjoy the amazing winter weather of Mauritius and morning sun by the beach. Post breakfast, travel through sugar cane fields and tropical rain forests to the hills, where some of the country’s most breath-taking scenery and nature creations draw travelers from across the globe. We will venture up the natural stairs at the unar-like landscapes Seven Colored Earths dunes of volcanic rock, rich in iron and aluminium, that gives these sand dunes their unique blue and red colors.
Mauritius also has a long Hindu history, to commemorate the same we will visit the sacred Ganga Talao also known as the Grand Basin and a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The legent says, Ganga Talao lake, an organic crater, is filled with water from the Ganges. Admire the impressive 100-foot statue of Shiva called the Mangal Mahadev, on the shore of the lake. We will also stop by the Black River Gorges National Park view point - a home to diversified wildlife and tropical rainforests. In the evening, return back to the incredible waterfront beach resort and enjoy a sumptuous feast with your new friends.
Wake up to the melody of gentle waves caressing the shores. Have breakfast at the hotel and head out for a day full of wild adventures at Casela Natural Park, which hosts over 150 bird species, giant Aldabra turtles, lions, tigers, ostriches, zebras, African antelopes, white rhinos, impalas, and camels. The park with the majestic Rampart Mountain as a background offers an authentic tropical wildlife experience.
Indulge in wild life safari where you can spot exotic species of animals, animal interaction and feeding, bird park, animal shows, walk with lion, quad biking, mud karting and a lot more.
In the evening, we will head for a sunset cruise on the Indian Ocean . See the setting sun at the horizon, while swaying to the gentle sea and soak in the magical beauty of nature. Post the cruise, we will head back to the hotel for dinner and have a good sleep.
Start your day with a scrumptious breakfast at the resort and get ready for a tour of the Northern part of the Island. Today we will visit Port Louise, the island’s political, economic and cultural capital, widely known for its glitz and glamour and its amalgamation with its 300 year old customs. .
We will visit Fort Adelaide, that offers striking 360 degree views of the island and was used as a military strategic point back in the day. Wander the bustling streets and witness to the nation’s colonial past, evident in some of the city’s architectural landmarks. We will then take a stroll through the 300 years old Pamplemousses Botanic Garden initially opened as a private garden by the French governor of Mauritius nearly 300 years ago. Later it became the national botanical garden of Mauritius with a fascinating collection of more than 650 native and non-native plants, including Baobabs, the Palmier Bouteille, the ineluctable Giant Water Lilies. .
In the evening we will visit the boulevard at the Caudan waterfront, where a surreal experience will leave you awestruck by the vistas of the sea. You can shop here from some of the high end brand stores or collect souvenirs for you loved ones and return to the hotel for dinner.
Now it’s time to Bid goodbye to enchanting Mauritius and take wonderful lifetime memories of an unforgettable paradise island. Post an early lunch, we shall drive to the Mauritius international Airport for our return flight back to India.
