Post lunch at an Indian restaurant, let's start our african adventure with a visit to the Giraffe Center, a stunning breeding center for the Rothschild Giraffe, which is found only in East Africa.

We shall visit an incredible oasis that is Nairobi National Park, a place thriving with wildlife such as zebra, leopard, lion, giraffes, cheetah and many more, within the city limit. On the way back to the Hotel, enjoy sumptuous dinner and then slip into the land of dreams to energize yourself for an adventurous days ahead.

  • Towering Mountains and a Country Club

Wake up in the City of Nairobi, gateway to explore the famous wild life of Africa. Post breakfast, drive through spectacular scenary of Kenya to the Aberdare region, a beautiful mountain range in the central highlands of Kenya. Arrive for lunch at The Aberdare Country Club, located in a 1,300 acre wildlife sanctuary. The sanctuary is inhabited by impalas, zebras, giraffes and the more reclusive leopards. Built into the side of the slope of the Mweiga Hill, Aberdare Country Club, is a haven of unhurried charm set in garden bursting with a profusion of color, and with peacocks living within the lush green lawns. Walking through this unspoiled terrain is paradise. Play a round of golf, watched by a family of warthog, play tennis or just relax by the pool within the beautiful gardens. We will stay overnight at The Aberdare Country Club.

  • The Majestic Moorland

After having a hearty breakfast at the club, proceed to morning game drive in Aberdare National Park. The forested slopes and open moorland of the Aberdare Mountains provides a habitat for elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs and bushbucks.

After a surreal safari experience return back to the Aberdare Country Club for lunch and then drive up into the mountains towards the stunning 'The Ark'. The Ark is located at 1800 meters above sea level on the Aberdare Ranges, situated in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, iconic and yet quicky, overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife. The Ark is comprised of four decks from which numerous balconies and lounges provide a superb location for wildlife to be seen. Spend your evening watching a cast of buffalo, rhino, gazelle and elephant that wanders by.

Join the lodge for dinner at the restaurant overlooking the watering hole. You can look forward to a fresh and organic meal, sourced locally from the neighboring villages. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor can see animals in the same super-abundance as they existed a century ago. Passing through the park gates will signal the beginning of your first safari as you begin to move through herds of gazelle, zebra, and giraffe on route.

Check in to Masai Mara leisure camp and enjoy your lunch. Later in the afternoon, proceed on a game drive through endless grass plains that stretch into the horizon, more than two million mammals graze on this land during the great wildebeest migration. We won't be the only one closely inspecting the herds. Trailing their movements is an abundant collection of predators. The big cats may be found in many parks across East Africa, but nowhere can rival the Masai Mara for its sheer concentration of these imperial predators. Return back to the camp and after dinner, gather round the fire with other travellers to swap stories of the day’s adventures before sleepily returning to your cabin.

  • The Shining Golden Plains

When asked to imagine an African safari, you’ll probably picture the plains of the Masai Mara without even realizing it. Flat-topped acacia trees dot vast, rolling grasslands covered with thousands of grazing animals - giraffe, buffalo and elephants. Lions doze in the shade, while zebras nibble at the tall grass just meters away. Today is the the day for one of the great African safari.

This morning you will rise early in order to catch the bush while it is most active. After coffee, tea and a quick breakfast, you will embark on a full day safari with innumerable wildlife encounters. Today you also have an opportunity to go on a spectacular (Optional) balloon ride across the Masai Mara. The balloon safari adventure begins in the pre-dawn hours. The magnificent view of the park is thrilling. Towards the end of the safari, you rise to a height of 1500 feet for a panoramic view of the twisting Mara River and the savannah below.

You pushed to limits you thought long gone and discovered latent potential and strength of body and mind. To boost us were motivating people like Sangita, Umiesh and Tej. Thanks for a well organised trip. The hotels were in strategic places where we soaked in the fresh mountain air and had panoramic views of God's creation. Lovely food and comfortable rooms.
