Embark on a journey down the King's Highway to the magnificent Nabataean city of Petra that will leave you awestruck by the grandeur of the rock cut architecture on red sandstone. Arrive at the Queen Alia Airport at Amman the Capital of Royal Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan by morning/noon hour. At Airport, meet our visa assistant to clear immigration and proceed to arrival gate. On the wait to hotel, enjoy lunch and then check-in to hotel at the Amman city while experiencing vibrant bustling streets that showcases enchanting mixture of ancient ruins and modern neighbourhood.
In the afternoon around 3:00 PM, proceed to explore the Amman city, discover centuries of history perched atop Jebel al-Qala'a, Amman's highest hill, where ancient Roman, Byzantine, and Umayyad ruins make up the area known as the Citadel. Walk to the temple of Hercules and Ummayad palace. Visit the Roman theatre which comprises of almost 6000 seats and is one of the most famous landmark of the Jordanian capital. The spectacle will leave you enchanted with the bronze age architecture unique to this region of the valley. During dinner treat your taste buds to the spicy and sweet flavours of Amman. Slip into the land of dreams to energize yourself for an adventurous days ahead.
After breakfast, drive south of Jordan to through Wadi Mujib, a deep valley holding one of Jordan's most breath-taking views. Our first stop will be at the Kerak castle for its diverse history dated from the Byzantine to the Mamluk period. It's one of the largest crusader castle built in 1132 by King Baldwin I of Jerusalem and it eventually became the center of power for the rulers of that time. The movie Kingdom of Heaven was shot here. Travel up the winding road through the al- Sarah mountains, every turn here will leave you awestruck at the stunning scenery of Wadi Araba and the Great Rift Valley.
We will then continue to the Dana Reserve which is one of the most diverse area in the country in terms of flora and fauna and has been a home to people for over 6000 years. Embrace nature in one of the most beautiful form and enjoy the site. We will then proceed towards the ruins of the Shobak Castle - Perched in a dramatic landscape on the Royal Mountains.
As we drive along the sandy country roads you can enjoy a panoramic sunset on the way to one of the seven Wonders of the world - Petra - an ancient city and centre of an Arab kingdom in Hellenistic and Roman times.
Check in to hotel for an early dinner and then proceed to attend Petra by Night - a magical experience, when the world wonderland in red stone is illuminated by thousands of candles and the stars above. Petra by night is a walking tour where we need to walk for 2 km/30 mins through candle illuminated Siq to reach Petra Treasury which is lit up with carpet of candles and fairy lights. Here we will attend a music show and hear the ancient stories of Petra by Bedouins. If you are not able to go for Petra by Night, stay hotel and enjoy your time leisurely.
Post return back to hotel, enjoy good sleep to prepare for your visit to the ruin city of Petra on the next day.Visit one of the most famous UNESCO World Heritage - archaeological sites in the world - The Rose City of Petra , located amid rugged desert canyons and mountains. This incredible site gets the name Rose city owing to the colour of the sandstone there and boasts rock cut architecture. Legendary Petra was established as a trading post by the Nabateans, an Arab Bedouin tribe indigenous to the region, between the 3rd and 4th century B.C. Romans and the Byzantines later sought to leave their own marks on the city where large and ornate temples built by the Nabateans eventually gave way to Christian churches constructed by the Byzantines, who considered Petra the capital of the province of Palestine.
Walk through the narrow Siq (gorge), a long narrow fissure between two overhanging cliffs that will tease you with the view of the Petra Al-Khazneh temple (the main monument) at a few twists and turns. The entire structure can be viewed only when you walk out the Siq and will leave you awestruck by its beauty and size. From there you can proceed towards the Monastery. Please take note that one needs to be physically fit if is they want to walk up till the monastery. It takes about three hours to complete the climb to Monastery and return back. You can explore the museum, Royal Tombs, Theatre and the Street of Facades on the way to the Monastery. You can also rent a horse carriage, camel or donkey from the native Bedouin men to take you up till the Monastery. Return to the hotel after an adventurous day.
Get up to a rather relaxed day and enjoy a leisurely morning breakfast post which we will head to Little Petra . Little Petra stands as one of the most important sites. Being one of the oldest settlements in the world it has served as an agricultural suburb, trading center and resupply post for camel caravans that visited Petra. It also serves as a passageway to the Lost city of Petra through the Monastery.
From there we will go to Wadi Rum (Valley of sand) that adorns some of the most scenic desertscapes in world. The landscape found in Wadi Rum is simply breath-taking and will stay forever impressed in your memory. The moment you enter Wadi Rum it feels like you are on another planet. Wadi Rum has been inhabited for centuries by Nabataens and Bedouins who still live there today. Due to its uniqueness and historical importance Wadi Rum is declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the astonishing desert landscape on an adrenaline filled Desert Jeep Safari to natural rock bridges, red sand dunes, canyons, rock paintings and lots of great viewpoints including the location of film Lawrence of Arabia.
Stay in a rustic Bedouin camp and spend the evening with traditional Bedouin music, sweet Bedouin tea and traditional barbecue supper at the desert camp.
Post a sumptuous breakfast, leaving the desert behind, we will travel to the quaint city of Aqaba on the coastline of the Red Sea for a refreshing splash. Drive through the beautiful city center to the Aqaba castle and museum. Built by Mamluk sultan Qansweh Al Ghuri in the 14th century, the fort is located close to the Aqaba Flagpole which carries the flag of the Arab revolt of 1916 against the Ottomans. Visit the Aqaba Archaeological Museum, shortly built after the first World War once used to serve as the residence of Sharif Hussein Bin Ali, the founder of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
With its calm, crystal-clear waters and thriving, dazzling marine life, Aqaba has its legendary reputation as a world-class snorkelling site. In the afternoon, embark on Yachting on a Coral viewing cruise with barbeque lunch on-board in the crystal-clear water. You can leisurely enjoy blue ocean or opt for snorkelling at your own expenses to enjoy amazing view of well-preserved reefs teeming with marine life - coral gardens and colony of multicolour fish.

Proceed towards one of the most awaited part of the tour - The Dead Sea . Since the time of Herod the Great, people have flocked to the Dead Sea to discover its curative secrets. Due to high annual temperatures, low humidity, and high atmospheric pressure, the air has a high content of oxygen. With the highest content of minerals and salts in the world, the Dead Sea water is said to possess anti-inflammatory properties, and the mud found on the shores has been used for over 2000 years for therapeutic purposes.
Soak in its therapeutic waters, laze in the freshwater pool or take a mudbath. Spend rest of the day by the Dead sea and enjoy the mesmerizing sunset.
Wake up to the greeting of the sunrays, have breakfast at the hotel and head towards Madaba known as the 'City of Mosaics'. Madaba is an important archaeological site with more than 4000 years of history buried beneath it. The quality and quantity of mosaic flooring has made Madaba one of the most prominent cities in the world for mosaics. We will visit the St. George's Church houses a mosaic floor depicting a large map of Palestine. At Mount Nebo , visit the site where Moses was granted a view of the Promise Land. The summit provides a panorama of Holy Land and the Dead Sea.
Visit the ruins of Jerash , one of the best preserved and most complete Roman provincial cities in the world. Walk through the triumphal Hadrian's Arch built in the honour of the visiting emperor at the entrance of Jerash. A marvel to sports enthusiasts, the Hippodrome is the ancient sports field with a seating capacity of 15,000 people who spectated chariot races and athletics 2000 years ago. Continue exploring the ancient specimens of some of the finest Roman sandstone ruins with the Roman Theatre, Temple of Artemis, Temple of Zeus, Colonnade streets, etc.
Proceed to Amman and post dinner, check in to hotel for good night stay.
